How it Works
- Send us a copy of your most recent resume for evaluation and let us know the type of position and industry you plan to target so we may better assess the strength of your document. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for us to review your material.
- If there are areas of the document that can be improved, we’ll let you know our initial ideas along with cost and timing so you may decide if you would like to move forward with our assistance.
- If so, we’ll schedule a time at your convenience for a phone consultation (30-90 minutes) to review all substantive material. Clients should be prepared to take notes regarding follow-up information.
- Following the phone consultation, we’ll send you a summary of the project.
- Receive and review prepared document(s) in protected PDF format for online review, and make any edits. (*See Our Process, Payment and Policy Statement for more information).

- Make payment through PayPal, and receive final electronic copies of documents.
Our Process, Payment and Policy Statement
Our process and fees are based on the following policies so we may help facilitate a successful outcome based on your goals, and complete this project within the targeted time frame (listed above):

- The career marketing documents we will prepare are based solely on information provided to us during our phone conversation, information previously emailed, or from follow-up emails referencing additional information as discussed during our phone consultation.
- Development and completion of the above-described career marketing documents is a project exclusively with our office and the client. No third-party is ever provided access to your confidential materials without your consent.
- When the documents are ready for your review, you will receive them in “protected PDF format” so they can be reviewed online, but not downloaded or printed. At the same time, you will also receive an invoice for services from PayPal’s secure server (this will come to you as VCGuides). Should you desire the document in a downloadable and editable format (MS Word), we require payment in full which is non-refundable.
- Clients must review and provide any modifications within ten (10) days of receiving the original PDF document. We are happy to make two rounds of edits within this 10-day period, before electronically delivering your final copies (Word, PDF and ATS-optimized if required) and following receipt of payment in full. Materials will be considered final as submitted if we do not hear from clients within ten (10) days of sending the original PDF.

- We utilize PayPal’s secure server for the convenience of our clients. A PayPal account is not required to remit payment and we never have access to your credit card information. PayPal offers an extended six-month payment option, which is an agreement between the client and PayPal and does not involve JPCareer Center.

We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. These third parties only have access to an email address for those limited purposes and if you have given us your permission by subscribing to our site.
Information collected
Visual-Career-Guides uses information provided directly by the Client received in the form of existing résumés, information gathered during a phone consultation, follow-up email correspondence received from Client, or any other channel Client uses to provide information to use in the development of the requested documents.
Changes to this privacy policy
Visual-Career-Guides has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
Your acceptance of these terms
By engaging our services, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not engage our services. Your continued interaction with Visual-Career-Guides following the posting of changes to this policy is deemed your acceptance of those changes.
Refund/Cancellation policy
Full client satisfaction is our goal. Clients receive the draft of their materials in protected PDF format to view on screen. Concurrently, an invoice for services is sent using the PayPal platform. If clients request the document(s) in Word to download, review and/or edit, payment in full is required and this constitutes the client’s full acceptance of the product provided. There is no provision for refunds once clients have received a downloadable document.
